Programmer

Responsibilities:

• Report To: IT Executives, IT/PD Manager
• The J2ME Application Programmer will design and develop application/services for PT Mobafone Indonesia. He/she has to develop useful tools for the company’s employees to reduce work procedures, increase productivity, and create profitable products/services for the end consumer.
• Work together with marketing team to prepare or update services in order to increase customer satisfaction.
• Work together with content manager to keep the services up to date.
• Assist in system/network administration.
• To act as technical support for any software/handset related matter.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Computer science or any relate fields.
• At least 2 year experience in development of application for mobile phones.
• Excellent knowledge about mobile phones and their capabilities.
• Excellent in Java programming, Object-Oriented Analysis, and Design.
• Excellent in the design and administration of databases, especially MySQL.
• Excellent in J2ME (Sprite,J2MEPolish,WMA.JSR 75,Jabber Framework)
• Familiar with UNIX and Linux system.
• Well familiar with the open source project e.g. Jakarta project, Eclipse, MySQL etc.
• Sound understanding of wireless technologies and enthusiastic to learn new things.
• Membership in development communities of handset manufacturers will be an advantage.
• Some experience in Wireless or VAS industry will be an advantage.
• Good in English oral and written
